This is the Media Page.
In this day and age far too many video game website’s articles are simply “look at this new batch of screenshots” or “New trailer from Game Y”. By breaking the media posts out onto their own page (and cutting out the unnecessary word-ly fluff that accompanies that sort of thing), we allow the content that we actually create (you know, the articles ‘n stuff) to not be overshadowed or drowned in a sea of screenshots and game trailers.
Of course screenshots and movies are still very important to the experience of a video game website, so we’ve kept them around. The media page is the implementation of the affirmation that games journalism should be one of the main focuses on a video game website.
